When sensitive issues arise, it is vital to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time to help alleviate concerns of beneficiaries, providers, civilian and military community and government representatives.

Over the past several years, TriWest has worked collaboratively with MTFs throughout the 21-state West Region to address a variety of communication challenges. These efforts have resulted in the creation of effective strategic communications models that can be leveraged to mitigate negative impact and promote positive developments including, but not limited to:
- Facility closures or downsizing
- Negative media exposure about a location-specific health care issue
- Significant changes to local health care resources or services
- Heavy deployments of medical personnel
- New or enhanced health care programs or services
- Promote new strategic initiatives
